Synopsis: The third lunar
landing mission was underway. People were bored. Flights to the moon were
now "routine". Without warning, during a simple, daily procedure, an explosion...electrical
power dies...and 3 astronauts are 200,000 miles and 4 days from home. Can
Mission Control beat the odds and bring them home safely?
Gary Sinise plays Ken Mattingly,
a rookie astronaut slated to be on the ill-fated mission. Scrubbed two
days before launch after exposure to the measles, he now works with the
engineers in Mission Control to bring his former crewmates home.
